There is a lot of creativity in the Chocolate World whether it's shapes, flavors, texture or packaging.
French butcher Yves-Marie Le Bourdonnec came to Brooklyn last fall now Brooklyn chocolatiers Nunu Chocolates return the favor.
They will be artists in residence in Paris for 2 weeks.
"Nunu Chocolates, an artisinal chocolate shop from Brooklyn, New York, becomes a living, breathing chocolatemaking exhibit at the Brachfeld Gallery in Paris, April 12-26 (78 Rue des Archives). Husband-and-wife team Andy Laird and Justine Pringle, along with co-chocolatier Dave Gould, will be making caramels and truffles on site and the finished products will go right onto the shelf of the gallery's shop."
It is mentioned as a 'pop-up' store on Nunu Chocolates website.
Brachfeld Gallery is opened Tuesday through Friday from 2 pm to 7 pm.
I neither met Nunu nor tasted their chocolates.
They were nominated for a web video award by James Beard Foundation.
Add Nunu to my 'things to do in Brooklyn' list.
Found out about this Parisian pop up choc art show thanks to David Lebovitz…
