I did not wear tinted glasses to taste this wine.
I was not sure at first if I should buy it.
Well after all I thought if it is not that drinkable, I can use it as cooking wine.
What strikes you first when you pour it, is its deeper rosé color, let’s call it strawberry like.
This Masia D Bielsa Rosé (2007) is 100% Garnacha (Grenache), Old Vines at that.
The grapes are harvested at the end of September in Ainzon (Spain) and this Rosé is part of the Campo De Borja appellation.
Nothing fussy about it, a simple wine to drink now rather than being wowed about, perfect for picnics this Summer (around $10).
