As I write this, Nuit Blanche 2007 just started in Paris. The event site is in French only.
The idea behind Nuit Blanche is to spend a Sleepless Night (short English description of fiesta here) in a Paris alive with events for your eyes and and your ears and the rest of your senses.
Call it a Cultural Happening when the City of Light becomes the City that Never Sleeps, for one night at least.
The event runs from October 6th (7pm) to October 7 (7am) and it’s Free.
To conclude, on a humanitarian note, Nuit Blanche 2007 is dedicated to Ingrid Betancourt, Honorary Citizen of Paris, kidnapped on February 23rd, 2002 by the FARC, in Colombia. People attending the event can sign a petition asking for her release.
Send us your impressions if you happen to be there.
