Unless you work in the airline or travel industry, what is the chance that you have the right information at your fingertips when you pick a seat for your next flight, about zero I guess.
This is where Seat Guru comes to the rescue.
The Seat Guru website is all about being practical.
Airlines`are listed in alphabetical order. Find yours, then find the type of plane that will serve your destination, click on your choice and voila the floor plan of the jet is there with color coded seats (you can even print it).
Green seat stands for good, Yellow for be aware (means that the seat might recline less or offer less leg room for example) and Red is for no no.
The map also indicated amenities on the flight such as audio, video and food and practical info such as power ports, bathrooms and the like.
I chose Continental Airlines to illustrate the topic.
The general page gives you all links, phone numbers and airline partners.
I then selected the Boeing 737-300, see its map. You can also submit comments on each of these plane pages if any information needs to be updated.
So nothing flashy here with Seat Guru, a very useful tool for travelers.
Thanks to Samuel Dean for pointing to it on Web Worker Daily.
