Had I not featured Vines of Mendoza in a recent post which they subsequently featured in their pages, I might have never heard of Argentina’s Travel Guide (‘your online guidebook to Argentina’).
If I got it right they started publishing in 2006.
10 people contribute to the site which also offers Free Pocket Guides on a range of subjects including Bookstores in Buenos Aires where I learned that the town is often called the City of Books.
Argentina is Meat Country as you know so they thought it would be neat to mention El Vegetariano which they describe as a home turned restaurant. They are not strictly vegetarian as Fish is on the menu.
Eggs and Cheese are also used in some dishes.
This eatery is located in Bariloche, Patagonia.
I also like the slides (in top right corner of this travel guide) including Iguazu Falls (some 275 cascades and waterfalls) and the El Perito Moreno glacier.
So grab your mouse and pay them a visit.
Hi Serge, thanks for the link love – you’re definitely pointing people in the right direction with your post. Just one question, how do you manage to post so diligently?? Well done =)
Hi Serge, thanks for the write up! I also wanted to turn you on to our food column, La Dulce Vida, featured on our site today. We are also working with the Vines of Mendoza on a wine guide for Argentina’s Travel Guide. We’ll keep you posted!
