The £15 honey tasting and tour of the beehives on rooftop of Fortnum & Mason store in Piccadilly with Jonathon Miller, their honey Buyer, is sold out but I learned from Slow Food London that there is still honey in the pot.
To be precise there are still seats available for 3 Course Honey Themed Dinner at Flemings in Mayfair for £25 per person (plus discretionary service charge).
Upon arriving, you will be treated to a honey cocktail. In case it matters to you, a vegetarian option is available. It must be requested when you book your seat.
This special menu was created by new chef Simon Henbery who puts a strong emphasis on seasonal British fare. It will use the Fortnum & Mason rooftop honey produced by Welsh black bees.
