In a couple of weeks, Singapore is hosting its first Restaurant Week (March 22 to March 28, 2010).
A wide range of options will be available to those of you lucky enough to be in the city-state.
If had a chance to visit, here are a couple places I would start with.
I would not describe myself as a vegetarian yet I would give a try to Original Sin which offers Mediterranean vegetarian fare. Their chef Marisa Bertocchi puts both her love for food and a degree in visual arts to work.
The Al Fresco dining option is a plus.
Looking for a more formal setting Krish might do.
Menu offers interesting combinations such as a Spiced Carrot Ravioli appetizer with Pomegranate seeds and ginger-brown
butter emulsion
Participants in Singapore Restaurant Week will serve a special three course dinner for a fixed price of s$35 and a three course lunch for s$ 25.
Organizers indicate that restaurants awarded with a DiningCity Star can ask an
additional fee of s$ 15 for lunch and s$ 20 for dinner.
I guess with that note you might want to check where you stand price wise when you make your reservation. It could save you from embarrassment later.
